In the 3rd minute, Mihai Grozuță made a precise shot to the right of Girkantas Bernotas. Zendraget BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, Zendraget BK's goal looked a bit too open when Mihai Grozuță came free, but Girkantas Bernotas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's goalkeeper Isidor Quintarnaya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Egil Eriksson. In the 10th minute, Ionel Ştoia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Girkantas Bernotas came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's Mihai Grozuță. But to his dismay, Mihai Grozuță quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Panait Moldovan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 20 played minutes Zendraget BK got a freekick which was hit by Klas Axelsson. Isidor Quintarnaya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Klas Axelsson in the 24th minute. Girkantas Bernotas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stelian Frățilă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Stelian Frățilă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Girkantas Bernotas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC Arges Dacia Pitesti booed when Zendraget BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertil Apelquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Răzvan Florescu in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Girkantas Bernotas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute, Kent Tinglöv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zendraget BK's Girkantas Bernotas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihai Grozuță in the 40th minute of play. Panait Moldovan scored 0-3 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Girkantas Bernotas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's Valentin Ştefănică was substituted for Răzvan Florescu. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samuel Fransson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zendraget BK's Girkantas Bernotas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihai Grozuță in the 52nd minute of play. If Bertil Apelquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Bagge hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's goal looked a bit too open when Klas Axelsson came free, but Isidor Quintarnaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rdth minute of the game Klas Axelsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's Isidor Quintarnaya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's Valentin Ştefănică got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to FC Arges Dacia Pitesti getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ionel Ştoia hit a great ball. FC Arges Dacia Pitesti were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Zendraget BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marian Găvan took the corner. Marian Găvan made a great header on FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's corner, it was just that Zendraget BK's Girkantas Bernotas managed to reach the ball for a save. Girkantas Bernotas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Ştefănică in the 78th minute of play. After 80 played minutes FC Arges Dacia Pitesti got a freekick which was hit by Ionel Ştoia. 83 minutes into the match, FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Fransson came free, but Isidor Quintarnaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zendraget BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Arges Dacia Pitesti would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
