In the 9th minute of the match Zhang Chen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonides Velasco skillfully saved the ball. Capivara FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zhang Chen in the 14th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in João Francisco Mota heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinícius Junior in the 23rd minute of play forced Club A. Chipa y Tereré's goalkeeper Leonides Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neycho Mudrov in the 28th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Capivara FC's Neycho Mudrov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonides Velasco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After having played for 36 minutes, Doriva Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capivara FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doriva Tavares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonides Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Francisco Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doriva Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Leonides Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Club A. Chipa y Tereré players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Capivara FC were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hipolito Beliran to make the kick off. After 51st play minutes Vinícius Junior shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Leonides Velasco and just under the crossbar into goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Capivara FC's Vinícius Junior slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leonides Velasco. That made the score 0-7 after 73 minutes of play. Neycho Mudrov in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leonides Velasco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 79th minute, João Francisco Mota left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Capivara FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. When Isaac Sabino fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club A. Chipa y Tereré's protests and gave Isaac Sabino a yellow card for diving instead. Isaac Sabino kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Capivara FC's Doriva Tavares ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leonides Velasco. Leonides Velasco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. 90 minutes into the match, Club A. Chipa y Tereré's goalkeeper Leonides Velasco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doriva Tavares. Leonides Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doriva Tavares in the 92nd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, João Francisco Mota notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Leonides Velasco. Leonides Velasco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
