Wilber Leon kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Marcinho Secco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michael Owen's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Marcinho Secco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilgaz Şirvan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ehrhard Bretzel during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Ilgaz Şirvan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcinho Secco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilgaz Şirvan in the 32nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michael Owen in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcinho Secco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michael Owen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcinho Secco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. After 41 minutes, Paul Some mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Qikiqtarjuaq FC and the FC WOUDOO players grew even worse after the yellow card. The FC WOUDOO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Qikiqtarjuaq FC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Rafael Krapols made the kick off in the second half. Marcinho Secco made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Michael Owen sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Marcinho Secco managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Michael Owen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The FC WOUDOO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcinho Secco should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Michael Owen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Owen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcinho Secco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 81 minutes into the game, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Michael Owen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcinho Secco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The supporters of FC WOUDOO booed when Qikiqtarjuaq FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Some didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Qikiqtarjuaq FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Paul Some hit a great ball. Michael Owen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Marcinho Secco made a huge save. 96 minutes into the match, FC WOUDOO's goalkeeper Marcinho Secco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eustaquio Patrick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Qikiqtarjuaq FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
