RoBen FC's James Littlechild got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Palle Ovengaard in the 14th minute of play forced Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Abel Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerom Smoors made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilgaz Şirvan in the 15th minute of play. Jerom Smoors was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Ilgaz Şirvan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ilgaz Şirvan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The supporters of Qikiqtarjuaq FC booed when RoBen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurits Arksøe didn't get a good kick on the ball. When %teams%'s Ilgaz Şirvan was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-0 just inside the left pole, 24 minutes into the game. Jerom Smoors was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. 27 minutes into the match, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adolf Jamieson came free, but Abel Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute James Littlechild shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ilgaz Şirvan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerom Smoors was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. After taking down the ball on Qikiqtarjuaq FC's corner Alfonzo Davidson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jerom Smoors quite easily take care of the ball. Michael Owen let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 41st minute shot 3-0 at rihgt post. Abel Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolf Jamieson in the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adolf Jamieson to strike the kick off in the second half. When Michael Owen came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Qikiqtarjuaq FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Owen couldn't finish the play. Jerom Smoors came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Michael Owen. But to his dismay, Michael Owen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Abel Bueno made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Moritz Wihrs sent off a good shot on target. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Hilario Slaughter was substituted for Gary Thomason. If Moritz Wihrs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Bueno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Palle Ovengaard in the 77th minute. After 79 played minutes Qikiqtarjuaq FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfonzo Davidson. After a rather tough play, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Alfonzo Davidson got a free kick in the 81st minute. Jerom Smoors made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Owen in the 83rd minute of play. Jerom Smoors showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Patrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. RoBen FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Qikiqtarjuaq FC had won, even though RoBen FC had held more of the ball.
