With an all-out effort, Coriano FC's Abel Bueno threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ferdinando Di Camillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Abel Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinando Di Camillo in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute Ferdinando Di Camillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Coriano FC's Alberto Pascali got a free kick in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilgaz Şirvan in the 11th minute of play forced Coriano FC's goalkeeper Cristoforo Musso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Ferdinando Di Camillo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Abel Bueno to make any attempt to save it. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Abel Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinando Di Camillo in the 20th minute of play. In the 25th minute Ilgaz Şirvan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Musso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 minutes of play, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Ilgaz Şirvan made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristoforo Musso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abel Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinando Di Camillo in the 33rd minute of play. Ernesto Gaudino lost his temper 37 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Coriano FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Qikiqtarjuaq FC:s goal. Ilgaz Şirvan walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Abel Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinando Di Camillo in the 44th minute of play. Ferdinando Di Camillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Abel Bueno made a huge save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michael Owen was the one to do the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Ferdinando Di Camillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Abel Bueno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Coriano FC's Ciro Melone quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Paul Some, made in the 52nd minute of the game. Ferdinando Di Camillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Abel Bueno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Hilario Slaughter was substituted for Gary Thomason. In the 59th match minute, Qikiqtarjuaq FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Some to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Michael Owen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Owen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristoforo Musso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Coriano FC's Cristoforo Musso got control of the ball when Michael Owen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Junior Stover was substituted for Ilgaz Şirvan. If Ferdinando Di Camillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristoforo Musso was a little too slow when Michael Owen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 2-2. In the 81st minute of the game Pang Zhen made a throw-in which Fabiano Caneva played forward. In the 83rd minute Junior Stover shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Musso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristoforo Musso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Junior Stover in the 85th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Qikiqtarjuaq FC's corner Miki Jungslund fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cristoforo Musso quite easily take care of the ball. Abel Bueno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinando Di Camillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Fabiano Caneva came free in the 93rd minute and tried to tip the ball over Abel Bueno, but to the joy of Qikiqtarjuaq FC's supporters the ball went over. In the 97th minute Coriano FC were awarded a corner. Dino Baciadonne went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Coriano FC's Dino Baciadonne to fire away a dangerous shot which Abel Bueno despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
