Spectators: 7510 (Terracing: 5633, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ilgaz Şirvan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Abel Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Paraense in the 3rd minute of play. After 5 played minutes Barra EC got a freekick which was hit by Natanael Souza. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caio da Rocha got free with Romeu Borges in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ilgaz Şirvan came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Qikiqtarjuaq FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilgaz Şirvan couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the game, Natanael Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Abel Bueno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st minute of the match Qikiqtarjuaq FC got a corner. Barra EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Miki Jungslund ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Miki Jungslund got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Romeu Borges quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Abel Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natanael Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Barra EC's Remy Sanderson got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute, Caio da Rocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romeu Borges was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Abel Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remy Sanderson in the 36th minute of play. Romeu Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilgaz Şirvan in the 38th minute of the match. Abel Bueno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 45th minute Ilgaz Şirvan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeu Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torsten Sundström's late challenge caught a Qikiqtarjuaq FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torsten Sundström helped the player get up and apologised. Torsten Sundström hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Daron Keen was substituted for Wilber Leon. After 47 played minutes Barra EC got a freekick which was hit by Torsten Sundström. In the 48th minute of the match Miki Jungslund sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Romeu Borges skillfully saved the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Barra EC made a substitution. Hélio Leão replaced Manuel Loyola. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ismael Paraense was the one to do the kick off. Caio da Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abel Bueno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válter Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The supporters of Qikiqtarjuaq FC booed when Barra EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dênis Fantini didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd match minute, Barra EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dênis Fantini to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th match minute, Qikiqtarjuaq FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Some to maneuver through the defense. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Michael Owen was substituted for Ilgaz Şirvan. In the 70th match minute, Qikiqtarjuaq FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Some to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barra EC's goalkeeper Romeu Borges, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 87th minute Caio da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeu Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Caio da Rocha notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Barra EC's Romeu Borges. Romeu Borges was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 92nd minute, Caio da Rocha made a precise shot to the right of Romeu Borges. Barra EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Qikiqtarjuaq FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Barra EC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
