When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Juancho Bonachea put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Pablo Lohitzun. Svetoslav Vardarov took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferdinand Luca. Ferdinand Luca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With a little luck, Expresso Ranelagh's Pablo Lohitzun got control of the ball when Paul Diculescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gökcan Çağman made in the 51st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ilie Tănase. Svetoslav Vardarov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ferdinand Luca came out and tried to block the shot, but Svetoslav Vardarov slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Expresso Ranelagh's goal looked a bit too open when Emilian Marina came free, but Pablo Lohitzun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilie Tănase in the 61st minute of play forced Expresso Ranelagh's goalkeeper Pablo Lohitzun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferdinand Luca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Svetoslav Vardarov went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Pablo Lohitzun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juancho Bonachea in the 68th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Expresso Ranelagh defense, Paul Diculescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pablo Lohitzun. The Expresso Ranelagh fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pablo Lohitzun should have stopped the shot. Expresso Ranelagh's Honorato Chap was substituted for Victor de Souza. In the 77th minute, Márcio Lago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ferdinand Luca was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-5. Pablo Lohitzun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Diculescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferdinand Luca was a little too slow when Márcio Lago got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 3-6. Márcio Lago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Expresso Ranelagh's Pablo Lohitzun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juancho Bonachea in the 95th minute of play. The FC Psihopel BM-MM- manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Expresso Ranelagh to win.
