Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the match, ZigZag Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Tostão de Queirós came free, but Teofilo Distiratsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tostão de Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukács Madaras in the 15th minute of play forced ZigZag Athletic's goalkeeper Teofilo Distiratsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, ZigZag Athletic's Vinicio Beliran got a free kick in the 17th minute. Jesper Vollander struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Dida Gröhe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZigZag Athletic. In the 23rd minute, ARAUCARIA FC's Gustavo Couto seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gustavo Couto the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ARAUCARIA FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gustavo Couto had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 23rd minute, one of ARAUCARIA FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ARAUCARIA FC. Teofilo Distiratsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tostão de Queirós in the 31st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesper Vollander got free with Dida Gröhe in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teofilo Distiratsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teofilo Distiratsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukács Madaras in the 45th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gösta Messi to make the kick off. Dida Gröhe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhuang Gang Peng in the 56th minute of the match. ARAUCARIA FC were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after ZigZag Athletic's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jardel Corrêa took the corner. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luciano Mazza helped the player get up and apologised. Gösta Messi kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, ARAUCARIA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Koehler to maneuver through the defense. Bengt-Rune Öman struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. The supporters of ARAUCARIA FC booed when ZigZag Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Ares didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Clodoveo Baldovino fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ZigZag Athletic's protests and gave Clodoveo Baldovino a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers August Hökkvist in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dida Gröhe saved ARAUCARIA FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, ZigZag Athletic's Hector Ares got a free kick in the 85th minute. Dida Gröhe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Ares in the 90th minute of the match. If August Hökkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. ARAUCARIA FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
