Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th match minute, Temperley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Walme to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute Iker Llorienzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santino Mora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santino Mora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Richie in the 16th minute of the match. In the 20th match minute, Temperley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Richie to maneuver through the defense. Temperley's Hector Casse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zuberoa Mesia in the 22nd minute of play. Arturo Montiel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Hector Casse when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 29 minutes into the match, Xaiver Bara dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hector Casse, 1-0. In the 32nd minute Ildefonso Richie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santino Mora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Club Deportivo Santiago's Zuberoa Mesia in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 40 minutes of play, Club Deportivo Santiago's Evelio Terres made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hector Casse was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nereo Medero during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes Temperley got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Medero. Nereo Medero was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Temperley getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Nereo Medero hit a great ball. The supporters of Temperley booed when Club Deportivo Santiago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xaiver Bara didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Zeru Mendana kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Temperley's Adrian Presebal was substituted for Gualterio Lopez. A collision led to Club Deportivo Santiago getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Zeru Mendana hit a great ball. In the 60th match minute, Club Deportivo Santiago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Meca to maneuver through the defense. Temperley's Ildefonso Richie got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hector Casse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arturo Montiel's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 67th match minute, Temperley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Ekain to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the game, Arturo Montiel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Hector Casse was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 71st minute, Xaiver Bara made a precise shot to the right of Hector Casse. Temperley's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 75th minute Evelio Terres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Casse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Montiel took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hector Casse. Hector Casse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The audience was convinced that Ildefonso Richie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santino Mora was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. After 81 minutes, Rodolfo Walme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Temperley and the Club Deportivo Santiago players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Temperley's Rodolfo Walme got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Temperley's goal looked a bit too open when Zuberoa Mesia came free, but Hector Casse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Temperley defense, Evelio Terres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hector Casse. The Temperley fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hector Casse should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute, Dionisio Argider left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Temperley fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Evelio Terres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hector Casse having to make a save. Arturo Montiel took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hector Casse. Hector Casse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. Hector Casse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Montiel in the 99th minute of play.
