Yeşilköyspor's Acun Tandan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonid Noskov in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute Kemalettin Taykut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ippolit Nazarov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Tuareg defense, Luo Ke Xiang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ippolit Nazarov. The Tuareg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ippolit Nazarov should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Sæbø in the 46th minute of play forced Tuareg's goalkeeper Ippolit Nazarov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Demyan Kalitinskiy was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Yeşilköyspor's Luo Ke Xiang made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ippolit Nazarov was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Kemalettin Taykut sped through Tuareg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ippolit Nazarov. Marian Zukowski hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 71 played minutes Tuareg got a freekick which was hit by Igor Borisov. When Leonid Noskov fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tuareg's protests and gave Leonid Noskov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Leonid Noskov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the game, Yeşilköyspor's Mark Sæbø nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ippolit Nazarov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kemalettin Taykut in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ippolit Nazarov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88th minute, Luo Ke Xiang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Kemalettin Taykut managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yeşilköyspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Kemalettin Taykut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ippolit Nazarov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yeşilköyspor's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
