After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Pablo Innocenzio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gladiadores's supporters rose to their feet, but Pablo Innocenzio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Urbasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vladislav Kuba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Daniel Urbasa made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Černý in the 33rd minute of play forced Gladiadores's goalkeeper Daniel Urbasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Blas Beila to strike the kick off in the second half. Radoslav Zobor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Beila in the 56th minute of the match. With a little luck, FC DAC 1904's Radoslav Zobor got control of the ball when Blas Beila tried to sneak it across the goal line. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gladiadores would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
