In the 9th minute, Hoberg United's Balázs Sebes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bart Basson. Bart Basson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Bart Basson made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Cintya Palacios sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Fernandes in the 16th minute of play forced Hoberg United's goalkeeper Dida Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes Vamo A Calmarno got a freekick which was hit by Doyle Quenneville. With a little luck, Vamo A Calmarno's Bart Basson got control of the ball when Balázs Sebes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dida Martins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flavio Fernandes's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute of the match Vamo A Calmarno got a corner. Hoberg United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Serbülent Ushan ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 23rd minute, Doyle Quenneville hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hoberg United's Cintya Palacios got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute Cintya Palacios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bart Basson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 minutes Vamo A Calmarno's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Danny Grønnow who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Hoberg United's Benny Bus to fire away a dangerous shot which Bart Basson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Hoberg United booed when Vamo A Calmarno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Panfilo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vamo A Calmarno's attentive Venancio Carretero managed to snatch the ball when Maximiliano Rutenio made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. Cintya Palacios received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bart Basson came out and tried to block the shot, but Cintya Palacios slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Balázs Sebes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cintya Palacios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Vamo A Calmarno's Flavio Fernandes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dida Martins narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Balázs Sebes in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bart Basson saved Vamo A Calmarno from getting behind. When Hoberg United's Cintya Palacios in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bart Basson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cintya Palacios in the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the game, Serbülent Ushan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The audience was convinced that Justino Rainerio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dida Martins was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
