Xande Cavani ran back to his position shaking his head. Baltazar Adán made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Xande Cavani sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Zinedine Benzema got free with Barbaros Bozbey in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Barbaros Bozbey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sindo Pabon in the 57th minute of the match. If Huang Xi Feng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xande Cavani in the 64th minute of play forced AGT Team's goalkeeper Baltazar Adán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
