After some careless play in the Sport Lisboa e Benfica defense, Abdelbassir Cestarolli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herb Good. The Sport Lisboa e Benfica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herb Good should have stopped the shot. Collin Grimm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jefferson de Mendonça might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herb Good. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jefferson de Mendonça ran back to his position shaking his head. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Jean Britton got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Herb Good showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelbassir Cestarolli, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goal looked a bit too open when Jefferson de Mendonça came free, but Herb Good reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jean Britton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jean Britton to make the kick off. After 60 played minutes Sport Lisboa e Benfica got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Hankins. Reynaldo Cestarolli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Britton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Sixto Felipo could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Herb Good however easily saved by the left post. 77 minutes into the match, Jean Britton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reynaldo Cestarolli. Cestarolli FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jean Britton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Cestarolli FC's Paulo Cestarolli was substituted for Ademir Cestarolli. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Sam McCain was substituted for Emilio Hankins. After a rather tough play, Cestarolli FC's Luizão Saldanha got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Cestarolli FC made a substitution. Bebeto Cestarolli replaced Abdelbassir Cestarolli.
