BIAMAR's Mariano Flores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Mendonça in the 4th minute of play. Mariano Flores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute, Fausto Mendonça ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariano Flores was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mariano Flores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Israel Faria got free with Naldo Proença in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raigo Vananurm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 23 minutes into the match, Scarlet Speedster's goalkeeper Naldo Proença had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo Estrela. With a little luck, Scarlet Speedster's Naldo Proença got control of the ball when Jairo Estrela tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariano Flores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 35th minute Jairo Estrela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fausto Mendonça came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Scarlet Speedster fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Mendonça couldn't finish the play. The corner led to BIAMAR's Jairo Estrela getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The BIAMAR players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Scarlet Speedster were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ceferino Salvatore to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind BIAMAR's goalkeeper Mariano Flores, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 54th minute of the match Scarlet Speedster got a corner. BIAMAR's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Krzynowek ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Fausto Mendonça came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Scarlet Speedster fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Mendonça couldn't finish the play. BIAMAR's Bernardo Silva was substituted for İslam Özoğuz. Fausto Mendonça might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mariano Flores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fausto Mendonça ran back to his position shaking his head. 60 minutes into the match, BIAMAR's goalkeeper Mariano Flores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fausto Mendonça. Fausto Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Naldo Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Estrela in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Mendonça in the 71st minute of play forced BIAMAR's goalkeeper Mariano Flores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Naldo Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Estrela in the 74th minute of the match. Scarlet Speedster's Fausto Mendonça got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Raigo Vananurm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 95 minutes, Anselmo Remir mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scarlet Speedster and the BIAMAR players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute, one of Scarlet Speedster:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Scarlet Speedster. Scarlet Speedster:s Naldo Proença showed great skill when he stopped Adrian Păunescu:s penalty. The Scarlet Speedster players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
