Cuatrodeocho's Inge Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Mendonça in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Mendonça in the 17th minute of play forced Cuatrodeocho's goalkeeper Inge Marin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inge Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Batuhin in the 20th minute of play forced Scarlet Speedster's goalkeeper Naldo Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd match minute, Scarlet Speedster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raigo Vananurm to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Cuatrodeocho's David Batuhin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Naldo Proença narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fausto Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Inge Marin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Andy Entrena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuatrodeocho's supporters rose to their feet, but Andy Entrena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Naldo Proença breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 56 played minutes Cuatrodeocho got a freekick which was hit by Percival de Alcântara. Cuatrodeocho's Eraldo Berardini was substituted for Kaan Ayhan. Cuatrodeocho's Percival de Alcântara quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tomas Wallin, made in the 64th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Batuhin in the 65th minute of play forced Scarlet Speedster's goalkeeper Naldo Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Batuhin in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Naldo Proença saved Scarlet Speedster from getting behind. In the 69th minute Raigo Vananurm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inge Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If David Batuhin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Váldson Bittencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Inge Marin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inge Marin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Mendonça in the 77th minute of the match. David Batuhin might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Naldo Proença. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Batuhin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87th minute David Batuhin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Scarlet Speedster getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Váldson Bittencourt hit a great ball. Cuatrodeocho made a substitution. Iván Villafane replaced David Batuhin. Iván Villafane took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Naldo Proença. Naldo Proença dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Scarlet Speedster players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cuatrodeocho.
