Ray Clemence dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Barbaros Bozbey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Holin Probohudono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, PHOENIX SC's goal looked a bit too open when Xande Cavani came free, but Ray Clemence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, PHOENIX SC's Barbaros Bozbey threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Loren Coya, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 13th minute Fabian Brinker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Clemence saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barbaros Bozbey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lilcho Ilchov in the 15th minute. After 15th play minutes Frederico Hendrickx shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Barbaros Bozbey and just under the crossbar into goal. 18 minutes into the match, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's goal looked a bit too open when Holin Probohudono came free, but Barbaros Bozbey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind PHOENIX SC's goalkeeper Ray Clemence, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 28th minute Lilcho Ilchov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barbaros Bozbey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Barbaros Bozbey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save VERDOLAGA CITY FC from getting a goal against them. In the 32ndth minute of the game Xove Pintor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PHOENIX SC's Ray Clemence was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 34 minutes into the match, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lilcho Ilchov came free, but Barbaros Bozbey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ray Clemence showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xande Cavani in the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xande Cavani in the 41st minute of play forced PHOENIX SC's goalkeeper Ray Clemence to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. VERDOLAGA CITY FC were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after PHOENIX SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Czeslaw Klimkiewicz took the corner. The corner led VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Xande Cavani to fire away a dangerous shot which Ray Clemence despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frederico Hendrickx to make the kick off. Xove Pintor scored 2-2 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ray Clemence, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A throw-in in the 57th minute of the game was made by Wilson Seco with Lilcho Ilchov as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When Xove Pintor came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the VERDOLAGA CITY FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xove Pintor couldn't finish the play. Ray Clemence made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oriche Isazi in the 62nd minute of play. Barbaros Bozbey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yonas Sutrisna in the 65th minute of the match. Ray Clemence showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xande Cavani, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Ray Clemence took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oriche Isazi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barbaros Bozbey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico Hendrickx in the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Xove Pintor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ray Clemence narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th match minute, PHOENIX SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yonas Sutrisna to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the VERDOLAGA CITY FC defense, Frederico Hendrickx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barbaros Bozbey. The VERDOLAGA CITY FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barbaros Bozbey should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute Cordero Jesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Clemence saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cordero Jesus who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Ray Clemence when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Xande Cavani struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Ray Clemence didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VERDOLAGA CITY FC. 96 minutes into the match, PHOENIX SC's goal looked a bit too open when Cordero Jesus came free, but Ray Clemence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
