The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Herb Good took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Colas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herb Good didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnaldo Colas went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Naike Abalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Britton in the 19th minute of play. Naike Abalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Britton in the 25th minute of the match. Jean Britton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Naike Abalos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd minute of the match La Mandarina Mecánica got a corner. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elias Leimann ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on La Mandarina Mecánica's corner Elias Leimann fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Herb Good quite easily take care of the ball. Elias Leimann took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Herb Good. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 35 played minutes La Mandarina Mecánica got a freekick which was hit by Andrzej Dziedziak. The supporters of La Mandarina Mecánica booed when Sport Lisboa e Benfica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sam McCain didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herb Good came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by La Mandarina Mecánica's Arnaldo Colas. But to his dismay, Arnaldo Colas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 41 minutes into the match, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Jean Britton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Naike Abalos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 45 minutes, Marcos Abad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Mandarina Mecánica and the Sport Lisboa e Benfica players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sport Lisboa e Benfica booed when La Mandarina Mecánica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Abad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Naike Abalos made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Jean Britton sent off a good shot on target. After the first half La Mandarina Mecánica were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnaldo Colas to strike the kick off in the second half. Jean Britton kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. A collision led to Sport Lisboa e Benfica getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Jacinto Vela hit a great ball. With his leg Herb Good managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when La Mandarina Mecánica's Fjölnir Bergsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 63 minutes into the match, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Jean Britton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Naike Abalos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Herb Good got control of the ball when Luken Abad tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Britton in the 69th minute of play forced La Mandarina Mecánica's goalkeeper Naike Abalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, La Mandarina Mecánica's goal looked a bit too open when Jean Britton came free, but Naike Abalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean Britton in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Naike Abalos saved La Mandarina Mecánica from getting behind. Naike Abalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Britton in the 76th minute of the match. Naike Abalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Britton in the 80th minute of play. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Barış Birsoy in the 83rd minute. Du Lei Bin was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 87th minute of the match Sport Lisboa e Benfica got a corner. La Mandarina Mecánica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Barış Birsoy ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Fjölnir Bergsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to La Mandarina Mecánica getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Placido Pieper hit a great ball. Barış Birsoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
