Romeu Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mo Salah in the 8th minute of play. Duncan Mcinnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Bermudo in the 18th minute of the match. Duncan Mcinnes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tenorio Urrue went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Guararapes's Romeu Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mo Salah in the 24th minute of play. With a little luck, Guararapes's Romeu Guedes got control of the ball when John Aldridge tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute of the match Guararapes got a corner. Manly FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ragıp Işık ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Vinicio Bermudo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Manly FC's Duncan Mcinnes did a great save. 42 minutes into the match, Vinicio Bermudo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Duncan Mcinnes. Manly FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vinicio Bermudo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 47th minute, Mo Salah left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manly FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Ragıp Işık got free with Duncan Mcinnes in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Duncan Mcinnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tenorio Urrue in the 60th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, John Aldridge notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Guararapes's Romeu Guedes. Romeu Guedes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Guararapes's Basílio Galvão slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Duncan Mcinnes. That made the score 4-4 after 92 minutes of play. In the 95th of the match, Basílio Galvão tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Duncan Mcinnes got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 97th minute of the match Guararapes got a corner. Manly FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Diogo Alagoano ran over to the corner to take the kick. Diogo Alagoano made a great header on Guararapes's corner, it was just that Manly FC's Duncan Mcinnes managed to reach the ball for a save. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
