Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's Edwin van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilson Snabl in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Clifford Hamilton was slow to take the kick. During this time Manly FC's players had a chance to rest. After 11th play minutes Jerónimo Furtado shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Duncan Mcinnes and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leukothoe Atsidakos got free with Duncan Mcinnes in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16thth minute of the game Mo Salah who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's Edwin van der Sar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manly FC's Patrick Lenard managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gaspar Ibon in the 17 minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mo Salah in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edwin van der Sar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mo Salah to make the kick off. In the 80th minute, Xande Solitario left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Manly FC's John Aldridge was substituted for Mo Salah. 84 minutes into the match, Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by John Aldridge.
