Guararapes's Romeu Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Almeida in the 26th minute of play. Bruno Cruz came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Guararapes's Vinicio Bermudo. But to his dismay, Vinicio Bermudo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Romeu Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Almeida in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute Henrique Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeu Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno do Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AnÐaRaHy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vânderson Falcão in the 39th minute. A nice corner shot did that Silas Dantas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Romeu Guedes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maurício Bittencourt got free with Romeu Guedes in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of AnÐaRaHy booed when Guararapes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dida Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romeu Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vânderson Falcão in the 92nd minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AnÐaRaHy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
