Jeronimo Rico showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. America Futebol Clube SP's Stefan Rasiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benny Koks in the 38th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benny Koks stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves C.J. 吕布 could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Stefan Rasiak however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★ booed when America Futebol Clube SP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeu Xavier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelio Giammaria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iago Bala in the 71st minute of play.
