The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes, Karim Morientes made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Poli Timisoara's Ovidiu Adrian tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tom-Lukas Rockstein hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute Karim Morientes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Adrian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Du Fan Fei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidiu Adrian came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Valhalla F.C.'s Karim Morientes. But to his dismay, Karim Morientes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Ovidiu Adrian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karim Morientes in the 27th minute of play. Valhalla F.C.'s Bai Yong Yi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ovidiu Adrian in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Benicio Larez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Primeiro in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Poli Timisoara booed when Valhalla F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Du Fan Fei didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute Mauro Primeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Larez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Poli Timisoara players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Valhalla F.C. were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karim Morientes was the one to do the kick off. Valhalla F.C. made a substitution. Milio Baca replaced Bai Yong Yi. Valhalla F.C.'s Radek Majewski was substituted for Du Fan Fei. Poli Timisoara's Ovidiu Adrian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Poli Timisoara from getting a goal against them. Valhalla F.C.'s Izel Ronaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Poli Timisoara's Ovidiu Adrian got control of the ball when Izel Ronaldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Valhalla F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
