In the 15th minute Fernando Figueiras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Adrian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. S04 Silesia's Kajetan Parzysz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çağdaş Yuvakuran in the 19th minute of play. Poli Timisoara were furious when Adib Ovi was red carded, 45 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Ovidiu Adrian had in the 48thth minute some difficulties stopping Fabian Dziedelonis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julien-Nils Trede to make the kick off. Ovidiu Adrian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Figueiras in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Poli Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Figueiras came free, but Ovidiu Adrian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Fernando Figueiras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidiu Adrian was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Wawrzyniec Kiewra hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Kajetan Parzysz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Primeiro in the 67th minute of play. Julien-Nils Trede could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Kajetan Parzysz made a huge save. In the 68th minute, Igor Pietrowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S04 Silesia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Ovidiu Adrian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ye Rong Jian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ovidiu Adrian came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by S04 Silesia's Ye Rong Jian. But to his dismay, Ye Rong Jian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ye Rong Jian in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidiu Adrian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th minute, Fernando Figueiras made a precise shot to the right of Ovidiu Adrian. Poli Timisoara's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. S04 Silesia made a substitution. Tomasz Bartochowski replaced Fabian Dziedelonis. In the 80th minute Ye Rong Jian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Adrian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Igor Pietrowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidiu Adrian was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the last second Kajetan Parzysz throw himself and got hold of the ball when Julien-Nils Trede in the 83rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 93 minutes, Tiger De Hond mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poli Timisoara and the S04 Silesia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Poli Timisoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiger De Hond to maneuver through the defense. S04 Silesia made a substitution.
