Cesare Punta might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yavuz Selimhan Yağız. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cesare Punta ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes into the match, Joseph Asklöv had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yavuz Selimhan Yağız. Fidan SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joseph Asklöv was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Fidan SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
