Olds School Pepo's Gustavo Gomez quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dave Lombardo, made in the 23rd minute of the game. Marcelo Gröhe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Stephen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fábio Secco's late challenge caught a Olds School Pepo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fábio Secco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Fábio Secco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Arsenal de Gols F.C's Raimundo Alvarenga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacinto Nicholas. Jacinto Nicholas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Raimundo Alvarenga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacinto Nicholas. That made the score 4-2 in the 97 minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Arsenal de Gols F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Olds School Pepo.
