Birila Graña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belarmino Viejo in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Claretiano FC's Maurinho Mendonça dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 28th minute Aquilino Velazquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birila Graña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maurinho Mendonça to strike the kick off in the second half. Birila Graña made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Aquilino Velazquez sent off a good shot on target. After 56 played minutes Claretiano FC got a freekick which was hit by Favila Ribadas. The long shot by García Ramos in the 57th minute really tested Birila Graña's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Maurino Esperta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Claretiano FC's goalkeeper Birila Graña had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aquilino Velazquez. The crowd rose to their feet as Aquilino Velazquez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Birila Graña. That made the score 1-1 in the 62 minute of play. When Maurinho Mendonça came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Claretiano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurinho Mendonça couldn't finish the play. Claretiano FC's Benigno Viñal was substituted for Norino Tostado. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maurino Esperta got free with Birila Graña in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Harkaitz Xavalera charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harkaitz Xavalera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Claretiano FC's Gelacio Salceda was substituted for Qu Lei Chang. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Polonia's Inocencio Huguet got a free kick in the 85th minute. 90 minutes into the game, one of Club Deportivo Polonia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Angelino Barba had in the 91stth minute some difficulties stopping Maurinho Mendonça's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Polonia's García Ramos got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
