Martin Tudor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wong Butcher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 minutes of play, FC ANC's Artemio Quiroga made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bryan Hui was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bryan Hui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manole Bordeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Måns Kjellman in the 37th minute of play forced Oakham's goalkeeper Bryan Hui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wong Butcher who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Martin Tudor when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Martin Tudor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wong Butcher in the 40th minute of play. Martin Tudor was a little too slow when Jerry Soon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 1-2. The Oakham players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC ANC were winning 1-2.

The audience was convinced that Jerry Soon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martin Tudor was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 59th minute, Wong Butcher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oakham's Bryan Hui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Oakham from getting a goal against them. 61 minutes into the match, Mark Koh notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of FC ANC's Martin Tudor. Martin Tudor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oakham's Gara Hock was substituted for Mark Koh. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wong Butcher in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Tudor saved FC ANC from getting behind. A collision led to Oakham getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Mohammad Lee hit a great ball. In the 81st minute Wong Butcher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Tudor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Oakham fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Oakham's Wong Butcher looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Oakham's Wong Butcher in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC ANC's goalie prevented a goal.
