Diego Milito started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Bornova's Germanas Judeikis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petr Školník narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th minute Germanas Judeikis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Školník saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Milito took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sezai Yura. Sezai Yura dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 22ndth minute of the game Ahmet Korcan Gökalp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yrigoyen.F.C's Petr Školník was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Petr Školník came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Lokomotiv Bornova's Germanas Judeikis. But to his dismay, Germanas Judeikis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. 27 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Bornova's Germanas Judeikis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petr Školník narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28th minute of the match Lokomotiv Bornova got a corner. Yrigoyen.F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ahmet Korcan Gökalp ran over to the corner to take the kick. Yrigoyen.F.C's Petr Školník played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germanas Judeikis in the 31st minute of play. Alp Eren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petr Školník having to make a save. 41 minutes into the game, Germanas Judeikis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Petr Školník was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Lokomotiv Bornova booed when Yrigoyen.F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nico Bertolo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Korcan Gökalp scored 3-4 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petr Školník, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Germanas Judeikis to make the kick off. Diego Milito's late challenge caught a Lokomotiv Bornova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Milito helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Yrigoyen.F.C's Diego Milito got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Yrigoyen.F.C's Petr Školník proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Yrigoyen.F.C from getting a goal against them. 56 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Bornova's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Milito came free, but Sezai Yura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petr Školník made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Korcan Gökalp in the 59th minute. With his leg Petr Školník managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Lokomotiv Bornova's Germanas Judeikis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Petr Školník made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Heintje Heinen sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Germanas Judeikis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Petr Školník was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Germanas Judeikis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petr Školník having to make a save. 79 minutes into the match, Yrigoyen.F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Germanas Judeikis came free, but Petr Školník reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Atacan Acartürk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yrigoyen.F.C made a substitution. Inocencio Buinton replaced Atilano Sotil. Aurelio Feliz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sezai Yura. Lokomotiv Bornova's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luis Chan hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Korcan Gökalp got free with Petr Školník in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Germanas Judeikis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petr Školník read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Lokomotiv Bornova's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
