LIVIOFOREVER's Fabiano Rago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save LIVIOFOREVER from getting a goal against them. Yrigoyen.F.C's Petr Školník played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giancarlo Antognoni in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Giacometti in the 22nd minute of play forced Yrigoyen.F.C's goalkeeper Petr Školník to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by LIVIOFOREVER's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aurelio Feliz was slow to take the kick. During this time Yrigoyen.F.C's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of LIVIOFOREVER's goalie and right to Diego Milito. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. LIVIOFOREVER's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 29th minute Emanuele Morelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Školník saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petr Školník showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmine Milani in the 30th minute of the match. Petr Školník made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuliano Galfrè in the 32nd minute of play. Fabiano Rago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Milito in the 36th minute. LIVIOFOREVER's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Diego Milito scored to the left of an out of position Fabiano Rago, making the score, 2-0. After 39 minutes of play, Yrigoyen.F.C's Diego Milito made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabiano Rago was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diego Milito to make the kick off. Iordache Pandrea got a throw-in 52 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alberto Giacometti. In the 53rd minute Carmine Milani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Školník saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petr Školník showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmine Milani in the 57th minute of the match. If Atilano Sotil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. LIVIOFOREVER's Youri van Eycken was substituted for Giuliano Galfrè. Fabiano Rago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Milito in the 61st minute of the match. Petr Školník made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmine Milani in the 67th minute of play. Giancarlo Antognoni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Petr Školník made a huge save. Diego Milito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabiano Rago having to make a save. Petr Školník made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Giancarlo Antognoni sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuele Morelli in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petr Školník prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute Carmine Milani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Školník saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Milito in the 88th minute of play forced LIVIOFOREVER's goalkeeper Fabiano Rago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Giancarlo Antognoni kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Petr Školník. That made the score 3-1 in the 89 minute of play. If Diego Milito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
