Spectators: 7698 (Terracing: 5775, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 153) Saltuk Askeroğlu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3rd play minutes Saltuk Askeroğlu shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Emerson Ferraz and just under the crossbar into goal. With a little luck, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Andriy Lunin got control of the ball when Guido Burgstaller tried to sneak it across the goal line. Saltuk Askeroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Saltuk Askeroğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emerson Ferraz having to make a save. 26 minutes into the match, Möhnsen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saltuk Askeroğlu came free, but Emerson Ferraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andriy Lunin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Freiherr in the 27th minute of play. Emerson Ferraz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saltuk Askeroğlu's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Guido Burgstaller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Andriy Lunin made a huge save. After 38 played minutes Möhnsen FC got a freekick which was hit by Timo Schinnenburg. Emerson Ferraz came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Saltuk Askeroğlu. But to his dismay, Saltuk Askeroğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Saltuk Askeroğlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emerson Ferraz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saltuk Askeroğlu ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saltuk Askeroğlu in the 42nd minute of play forced Möhnsen FC's goalkeeper Emerson Ferraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eustaquio Brufau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Emerson Ferraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46 played minutes Möhnsen FC got a freekick which was hit by Costică Juverdeanu. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guido Burgstaller stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Andriy Lunin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karel Dautzenberg in the 57th minute of play. Saltuk Askeroğlu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Emerson Ferraz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Andriy Lunin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torben Holbach, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Jann Kaindl managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Costică Juverdeanu in the 68 minute of the game. 69 minutes into the match, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Saltuk Askeroğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emerson Ferraz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Chen Zhen in the 70th minute.
