Cristi Miheș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Selami Baycan, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After some careless play in the Hurboc defense, Róbert Benkó kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ignacio Quintun. The Hurboc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ignacio Quintun should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Selami Baycan in the 35th minute of play forced Armada's goalkeeper Cristi Miheș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Damian Enekoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Apalasuka Moco to make the kick off. The supporters of Armada booed when Hurboc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Enekoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball.
