Spectators: 7705 (Terracing: 5780, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 153) ORIZABA F.C.'s Cyprian Oliszewski started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. ORIZABA F.C.'s Amílton Loyola managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Carlos Alberto Sá in the 4 minute of the game. Maurício Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11thth minute of the game Cyprian Oliszewski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Danone CC's Isaltino Couto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 12th minute Cyprian Oliszewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaltino Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliver Kan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diguinho Teles in the 18th minute. Danone CC's Isaltino Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyprian Oliszewski in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyprian Oliszewski in the 22nd minute of play forced Danone CC's goalkeeper Isaltino Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaltino Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyprian Oliszewski in the 25th minute of the match. A collision led to Danone CC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Moisés Linhares hit a great ball. Fausto Senna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Oliver Kan made a huge save. With 36 minutes on the clock, Hilario Izquierdo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 36th minute, one of ORIZABA F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ORIZABA F.C.. In the 43rd minute of the match, Jeremias Velloso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oliver Kan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Danone CC defense, Cyprian Oliszewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaltino Couto. The Danone CC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaltino Couto should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Danone CC booed when ORIZABA F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Ramone didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The audience was convinced that Fausto Senna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oliver Kan was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Oliver Kan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Velloso in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by ORIZABA F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maurício Rodrigues was slow to take the kick. During this time Danone CC's players had a chance to rest. Oliver Kan came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Danone CC's Jeremias Velloso. But to his dismay, Jeremias Velloso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Isaltino Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyprian Oliszewski in the 61st minute of play. ORIZABA F.C.'s Fausto Beattie quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jeremias Velloso, made in the 67th minute of the game. In the 69th minute Jeremias Velloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Kan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fausto Beattie fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ORIZABA F.C.'s protests and gave Fausto Beattie a yellow card for diving instead. ORIZABA F.C.'s Oliver Kan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diguinho Teles in the 77th minute of play. Oliver Kan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Senna in the 83rd minute of the match. Carlos Alberto Sá scored 3-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oliver Kan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Danone CC's Samuel McQuarrie was substituted for Fausto Senna. Samuel McQuarrie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ORIZABA F.C.'s Oliver Kan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Gol in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that Danone CC were the better team. Danone CC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
