Hayrullah Ortan took the corner. In the 16th minute of the game Geovanni de Alcântara made a throw-in which Fausto Senna played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Velloso in the 17th minute of play forced 1863 Boğaziçi Revizyon's goalkeeper İsa Ulaç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albert Vulpe's late challenge caught a 1863 Boğaziçi Revizyon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Danone CC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. 1863 Boğaziçi Revizyon were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diguinho Teles was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of 1863 Boğaziçi Revizyon booed when Danone CC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mehmet Şahtürk made a great header on 1863 Boğaziçi Revizyon's corner, it was just that Danone CC's Isaltino Couto managed to reach the ball for a save.
