The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Hélder Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hélder Fonseca couldn't finish the play. Vincent Aalberts didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fausto Senna went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 8thth minute of the game Jeremias Velloso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's Vincent Aalberts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 12 minutes into the match, CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's Hélder Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaltino Couto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Danone CC's goalkeeper Isaltino Couto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute Fausto Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Aalberts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maurício Rodrigues was slow to take the kick. During this time Danone CC's players had a chance to rest. Enéas Carneiro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 21 minutes into the match, CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's Hélder Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaltino Couto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ were awarded a corner. Albert Einstein went to the cornerflag to take it. If Diguinho Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Isaltino Couto made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Hélder Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute, Moisés Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vincent Aalberts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurício Rodrigues in the 35th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Hélder Fonseca kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isaltino Couto. That made the score 1-1 in the 37 minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Diguinho Teles made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Moisés Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute Hélder Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaltino Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vincent Aalberts made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diguinho Teles in the 63rd minute. Moisés Linhares's late challenge caught a CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moisés Linhares helped the player get up and apologised. Moisés Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes Danone CC got a freekick which was hit by Moisés Linhares. Danone CC's Isaltino Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigan Frankson in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's Rigan Frankson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaltino Couto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Albert Einstein in the 73rd minute. Danone CC's Samuel McQuarrie was substituted for Fausto Senna. Albert Einstein hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's Vincent Aalberts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ from getting a goal against them. 88 minutes into the match, Danone CC's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Einstein came free, but Isaltino Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Alberto Sá's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vincent Aalberts firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 91 played minutes Danone CC got a freekick which was hit by Moisés Linhares. Danone CC made a substitution. Oséas Chaves replaced Geovanni de Alcântara. A collision led to Danone CC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Moisés Linhares hit a great ball. Isaltino Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigan Frankson in the 92nd minute of play. After 93 played minutes CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Albert Einstein. Lázaro Regis kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Maurício Rodrigues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
