Xabat Figueroa hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Giorgos Soufleris made in the 9th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Panos Ntountas. Andreas Kousoulakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Maties in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute of the match RamPa Football Club got a corner. Olympiacos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cyrille Desplanches ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Metodi Deyanov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Andreas Kousoulakis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. RamPa Football Club's Xabat Figueroa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Christos Romanakoglou, made in the 22nd minute of the game. Olympiacos FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Claudio Maties scored to the left of an out of position Andreas Kousoulakis, making the score, 1-0. Claudio Maties sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Andreas Kousoulakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Maties in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Claudio Maties had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andreas Kousoulakis. Olympiacos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudio Maties was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Paul Ramon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sakis Paragioudakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of RamPa Football Club booed when Olympiacos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lazaros Tsakrilis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andreas Kousoulakis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Claudio Maties showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 36 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Panos Ntountas was the one to do the kick off. RamPa Football Club's Paul Ramon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panos Ntountas in the 55th minute of play. RamPa Football Club's Mattias Svahn was substituted for Claudio Maties. The throw-in from Christos Romanakoglou in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by RamPa Football Club's Xabat Figueroa. Olympiacos FC's attentive Konstantinos Meletiou managed to snatch the ball when Ramon Maldini made a throw-in in the 71st minute of the game. Konstantinos Meletiou's late challenge caught a RamPa Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Konstantinos Meletiou helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Olympiacos FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Konstantinos Meletiou hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Ramon Beckham in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Olympiacos FC's Menios Moustakalis. In the 80th minute, Konstantinos Meletiou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andreas Kousoulakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Svahn in the 89th minute of the match. If Mattias Svahn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Svahn in the 96th minute of play forced Olympiacos FC's goalkeeper Andreas Kousoulakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. RamPa Football Club's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
