Pastor Firman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Håkan Ödman went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 10th minute, Sebastian Verón left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Sportivo Quilmes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 12th minute Arnold Ponk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maciej Brzeszczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Łukasz Cwynar got free with Pastor Firman in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Håkan Ödman might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pastor Firman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Håkan Ödman ran back to his position shaking his head. 24 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Quilmes's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Ödman came free, but Pastor Firman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Sportivo Quilmes's Alejo Ongile got a free kick in the 28th minute. Trzynastki Błeszno Cz-wa's Iwan Grunwalski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pastor Firman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Maciej Brzeszczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomil Mietus, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute, Alejo Ongile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Trzynastki Błeszno Cz-wa booed when Club Sportivo Quilmes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludomir Witkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Radomil Mietus was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Trzynastki Błeszno Cz-wa's Elías Figueroa got a free kick in the 50th minute. Maciej Brzeszczak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnold Ponk's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. 57 minutes into the match, Trzynastki Błeszno Cz-wa's Håkan Ödman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pastor Firman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute of the match Trzynastki Błeszno Cz-wa got a corner. Club Sportivo Quilmes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elías Figueroa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Club Sportivo Quilmes's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Club Sportivo Quilmes were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
