Olympiacos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Panos Ntountas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Blomstermåla BK's Jörn Erserman, in the 44th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Blomstermåla BK.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Panos Ntountas was the one to do the kick off. Arnulfo Ongile scored 3-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andreas Kousoulakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 94th minute Marek Panasewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Kousoulakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Soulis Partalis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
