The Henley on Thames United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sofoklis Prinianakis should have stopped the shot. Ezio Gøl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sofoklis Prinianakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute of the match Henley on Thames United got a corner. RamPa Football Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Grant Sherwood ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Jake Marriott put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Paul Ramon. In the 14th minute, Devon Hook hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jake Marriott in the 17th minute of play forced RamPa Football Club's goalkeeper Paul Ramon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 played minutes RamPa Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Yu Jun Yuan. Paul Ramon came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Henley on Thames United's Jake Marriott. But to his dismay, Jake Marriott quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Ezio Gøl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paul Ramon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jake Marriott in the 28th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of RamPa Football Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Henley on Thames United:s goal. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for Henley on Thames United. Grant Sherwood stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Paul Ramon. 1-3. Cyrille Desplanches's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sofoklis Prinianakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Henley on Thames United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Devon Hook to maneuver through the defense. Ezio Gøl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the game, Ezio Gøl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Sofoklis Prinianakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

Henley on Thames United's Sofoklis Prinianakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezio Gøl in the 56th minute of play. Joe Wright fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Ramon having to interfere. Carl Houghton's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Paul Ramon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 67th minute, Grant Sherwood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. RamPa Football Club made a substitution. Xabat Figueroa replaced Cyrille Desplanches. RamPa Football Club's Ramon Beckham was substituted for Metodi Deyanov. RamPa Football Club made a substitution. Mattias Svahn replaced Ezio Gøl. In the 68th minute, Grant Sherwood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, RamPa Football Club's Xabat Figueroa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sofoklis Prinianakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to RamPa Football Club getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Yu Jun Yuan hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jake Marriott got free with Paul Ramon in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henley on Thames United's Rowan Ryder was substituted for Jake Marriott. With a little luck, RamPa Football Club's Paul Ramon got control of the ball when Rowan Ryder tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcelo Gallardo hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. If Mattias Svahn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Henley on Thames United's Sofoklis Prinianakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Svahn in the 85th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mattias Svahn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sofoklis Prinianakis was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. When Mattias Svahn came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the RamPa Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattias Svahn couldn't finish the play. Rowan Ryder blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paul Ramon having to make a save. Paul Ramon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Houghton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Henley on Thames United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than RamPa Football Club throughout the match.
