Northern California's defense didn't have a chance, in the 2nd minute, when Borys Biegun scored to the left of an out of position David Schembri, making the score, 1-0. Bernard McFrank kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Northern California's David Schembri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Northern California from getting a goal against them. When Borys Biegun came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Nadodrze Wrocław fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Borys Biegun couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Borys Biegun in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Schembri saved Northern California from getting behind. Lucjan Zbytniewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Isazi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucjan Zbytniewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Chorche, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Nadodrze Wrocław's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Chorche came free, but Lucjan Zbytniewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Borys Biegun in the 20th minute of play forced Northern California's goalkeeper David Schembri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Northern California's goalkeeper David Schembri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Borys Biegun. In the 26th minute, Gustavo Isazi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucjan Zbytniewski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Lucjan Zbytniewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Isazi in the 29th minute of play. When Northern California's Gustavo Isazi in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nadodrze Wrocław's goalie prevented a goal. Borys Biegun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Schembri having to make a save. If Leandro Chorche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Northern California's Gong Xiao got a free kick in the 51st minute. David Schembri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borys Biegun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Northern California's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antonio Guillelme in the 58th minute. The corner ended in Antonio Guillelme almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nadodrze Wrocław's Lucjan Zbytniewski did a great save. Marian Konopka took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Schembri. David Schembri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Lucjan Zbytniewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Bernaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. David Schembri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugon Podowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Nadodrze Wrocław's Lucjan Zbytniewski got control of the ball when Leandro Chorche tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernard McFrank made in the 79th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Leandro Chorche however managed to control. Northern California's David Schembri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugon Podowski in the 88th minute of play.
