Witold Bury made in the 21st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Emilio Porta immediately put the ball in play. In the 24th match minute, New England Minas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Major to maneuver through the defense. Edgardo Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fan Xi Hong read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. New England Minas were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Squadra de Pippe's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Glen Conklin took the corner. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristoforo Volpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Jeremy Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukasz Rukszcz in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgardo Silva made a kick off. When Lukasz Rukszcz came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Squadra de Pippe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lukasz Rukszcz couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, New England Minas's António Nóbrega got a free kick in the 57th minute. Squadra de Pippe's Fabio Bosco was substituted for Boruc Gongolewicz. New England Minas made a substitution. Ye Gang Cheng replaced Roman Major.
