Spectators: 7703 (Terracing: 5779, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Augusto Cordario kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Cordario in the 24th minute of play forced Big Babousa's goalkeeper Svetlozar Karamihov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Cordario in the 40th minute of play forced Big Babousa's goalkeeper Svetlozar Karamihov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Big Babousa defense, Augusto Cordario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Svetlozar Karamihov. The Big Babousa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Svetlozar Karamihov should have stopped the shot. In the 43rd minute Ben Breton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Sergi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Svetlozar Karamihov came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Velez Sarsfield's Augusto Cordario. But to his dismay, Augusto Cordario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Claudio Millano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Big Babousa's goalkeeper Svetlozar Karamihov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Cordario. In the 64th minute Velez Sarsfield were awarded a corner. Ignacio Berenguer went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 66th minute Hector Bladi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Sergi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Svetlozar Karamihov was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Augusto Cordario showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 77 minute of play. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Velez Sarsfield would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
