In the 41st minute, Derman Cruchet made a precise shot to the right of Svetlozar Karamihov. Big Babousa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Derman Cruchet came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Derman Cruchet couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Derman Cruchet made a kick off. A collision led to Big Babousa getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Matthieu Brillaud hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Derman Cruchet got free with Svetlozar Karamihov in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan Basaik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Bladi in the 56th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 64 minutes into the game, when Tiburcio Llorienzo put in a rough tackle. 64 minutes into the game, one of Big Babousa:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Wieslaw Ciborek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Basaik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play.
