They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After having played for 51 minutes, Lino Rios managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC FUSION's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lino Rios was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guido Txindoki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Siqueira having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Rios came free, but Evaristo Siqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded AFC FUSION left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Floripa Lions FSCMZ.
