Curtiz Klein made in the 9th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ivan Dové immediately put the ball in play. Brian Fumey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Téo Rosa in the 10th minute of play. Brian Fumey came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Wil 1900's Téo Rosa. But to his dismay, Téo Rosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emery Heller got free with Brian Fumey in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Curtiz Klein made in the 23rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ivan Dové however managed to control. Léon Cailleaux blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lionel Paly having to make a save. Lionel Paly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Léon Cailleaux in the 27th minute of the match. Lionel Paly stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Léon Cailleaux's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Léon Cailleaux's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lionel Paly read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lionel Paly, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Téo Rosa hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. A throw-in in the 45th minute of the game was made by Curtiz Klein with Ivan Dové as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Florent Blanc hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The supporters of FC Wil 1900 booed when Roncourt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. J.P. Kapar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pirmin Jäggi took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brian Fumey. Brian Fumey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tory Pryor was the one to do the kick off. Brian Fumey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Rosa in the 59th minute of the match. Ivan Dové took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brian Fumey. Brian Fumey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 64th minute Pirmin Jäggi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Fumey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lionel Paly had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by J.P. Kapar. 68 minutes into the game, Léon Cailleaux cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Lionel Paly was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roncourt made a substitution. Jean-Marc Kazmierczak replaced Léon Cailleaux. FC Wil 1900 made a substitution. Alex Leisibach replaced Tory Pryor. Roncourt's Romuald Benaissa was substituted for Horácio Larreta. Curtiz Klein made in the 73rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Téo Rosa however managed to control. Kapar in the 83rd minute of play forced FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lionel Paly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute Jean-Marc Kazmierczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lionel Paly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in J.P. Kapar heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Brian Fumey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pirmin Jäggi, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. J.P. Kapar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Lionel Paly made a huge save. In the 93rdth minute of the game Alex Leisibach who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Roncourt's Brian Fumey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emery Heller didn't quite understand what happened when in the 96 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. FC Wil 1900 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
