A collision led to KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Aleksander Kalinowski hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, El Stradivarius's Gabriel Pello got a free kick in the 21st minute. Jedrzej Galus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paolo Cucao went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 25 played minutes KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Winnicki. Igor Jarmulowicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filipe Meireles having to make a save. Filipe Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Jarmulowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, El Stradivarius's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Van Gogh came free, but Jedrzej Galus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Goren kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Igor Jarmulowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Lain in the 55th minute of play forced El Stradivarius's goalkeeper Jedrzej Galus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute Vincent Van Gogh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jedrzej Galus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
