Jedrzej Galus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 7 minutes into the match, B68 Toftir's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Jarmulowicz came free, but Beat Leutwyler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jedrzej Galus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arkādijs Žurka, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Kallistus Bussmann threw the ball into play from the sideline. El Stradivarius's Bernardino Vigil quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 15 minutes B68 Toftir's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Igon Ferrero who took care of the corner kick. The corner led El Stradivarius's Igon Ferrero to fire away a dangerous shot which Beat Leutwyler despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Jarmulowicz in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beat Leutwyler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Beat Leutwyler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Jarmulowicz in the 18th minute of play. After 20 minutes B68 Toftir's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Igon Ferrero who took care of the corner kick. Beat Leutwyler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Jarmulowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the 23rd minute of play forced El Stradivarius's goalkeeper Jedrzej Galus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Jarmulowicz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 42 minutes into the match, El Stradivarius's Angelo Goren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Beat Leutwyler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Igor Jarmulowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Beat Leutwyler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beat Leutwyler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Jarmulowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute of the match, Angelo Goren got a very nice opportunity to score, but Beat Leutwyler was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lázaro Lizbeth was the one to do the kick off. 50 minutes into the match, B68 Toftir's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Goren came free, but Beat Leutwyler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, El Stradivarius's Jedrzej Galus got control of the ball when Maximino Goi tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Jarmulowicz in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beat Leutwyler saved B68 Toftir from getting behind. Jedrzej Galus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Lizbeth in the 57th minute of play. After 58 minutes, Maximino Goi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the B68 Toftir and the El Stradivarius players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to B68 Toftir getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Maximino Goi hit a great ball. B68 Toftir's Beat Leutwyler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Jarmulowicz in the 62nd minute of play. Beat Leutwyler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Jarmulowicz in the 65th minute of the match. El Stradivarius's Emilio Rami was substituted for Igor Jarmulowicz. A well-hit corner resulted in Gabriel Pello heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 75 played minutes El Stradivarius got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Rami. Beat Leutwyler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernandinho Furtado in the 86th minute of play. Maximino Goi scored 1-3 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jedrzej Galus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, B68 Toftir's Jedrzej Galus threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Timmie Nyemanting, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, El Stradivarius's Igon Ferrero got a free kick in the 91st minute. The B68 Toftir supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing B68 Toftir would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
