In the 11th minute Taaniel Hill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Giovanelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldo Giovanelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taaniel Hill in the 13th minute of the match. Ronaldo Giovanelli was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Taaniel Hill capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Taaniel Hill really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. A sloppy throw-in by Abuzer Uzman in the 21st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Galo do Japi's Durvalino Caca-Rato. 22 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goal looked a bit too open when Taaniel Hill came free, but Ronaldo Giovanelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the last second Ronaldo Giovanelli throw himself and got hold of the ball when Taaniel Hill in the 22ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Brown Puerto Madryn's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eleuterio Sedeni in the 24th minute. If Ahmet Demir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Demir in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santiago Nataniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Santana took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santiago Nataniel. Santiago Nataniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Brown Puerto Madryn's zone, Ahmet Demir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Nataniel came out of the goal and Ahmet Demir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Galo do Japi booed when Brown Puerto Madryn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abuzer Uzman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute of the match, Sven-Ove Kjellman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ronaldo Giovanelli was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

After 55 minutes Galo do Japi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eleuterio Sedeni who took care of the corner kick. If Carlos Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 70th minute Sven-Ove Kjellman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Giovanelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Brown Puerto Madryn booed when Galo do Japi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. César dos Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronaldo Giovanelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billy Drake, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Drake came free, but Ronaldo Giovanelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Santiago Nataniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Santana in the 81st minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Billy Drake threw the ball into play from the sideline. Galo do Japi's Ahmet Demir quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ronaldo Giovanelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Salvidor in the 88th minute of play. Carlos Santana might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santiago Nataniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Santana ran back to his position shaking his head. The Galo do Japi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Galo do Japi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
