Milosz Hejza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaudencio Blai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. With a little luck, Tama's Gaudencio Blai got control of the ball when Marcinho Sena tried to sneak it across the goal line. Milosz Hejza in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gaudencio Blai, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Milosz Hejza's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Gaudencio Blai skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Milosz Hejza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Gaudencio Blai made a huge save. Ademir Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Bazil in the 23rd minute of the match. Casimiro Valiente hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Milosz Hejza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Gaudencio Blai when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Matungo Gaúcho's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Ademir Baptista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gilmar Borges ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcinho Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Gaudencio Blai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Milosz Hejza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 52 in the game by Suibhne Ghee from a close distance when the talented Ademir Baptista managed to make a qualified save. Matungo Gaúcho's players were relieved. Gaudencio Blai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Florinio, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 55 minutes of play, Matungo Gaúcho's Celedonio Florinio made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaudencio Blai was left in no man's land by his defense there! Milosz Hejza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Blai having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Diego Bazil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute Milosz Hejza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Blai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaudencio Blai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milosz Hejza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Tama's goal looked a bit too open when Marcinho Sena came free, but Gaudencio Blai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Bazil hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Tama made a substitution. Marco Santiago replaced Joel Guerau. Tama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcinho Sena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Felipe Mino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Ademir Baptista made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Matungo Gaúcho had won after a very even match.
