Dewa Gol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Farid Mondragon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute Bograngen were awarded a corner. Zygmunt Tobaczewski went to the cornerflag to take it. Gerhart Krainert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Levan Dost, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Stig-Ove Kiempe kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Vincent Kompany threw the ball into play from the sideline. Bograngen's Sverker Kullander quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Dewa Gol took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Farid Mondragon. Farid Mondragon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Farid Mondragon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dewa Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Farid Mondragon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dewa Gol in the 46th minute of play. The 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bograngen were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dewa Gol was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Bograngen's goal looked a bit too open when Levan Dost came free, but Gerhart Krainert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Leonides Xacintu came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Xacintu couldn't finish the play. If Dewa Gol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78thth minute of the game Leonides Xacintu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bograngen's Gerhart Krainert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB made a substitution. Ferhan Saik replaced Cihangir Türkol. 86 minutes into the match, Bograngen's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Xacintu came free, but Gerhart Krainert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Farid Mondragon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dewa Gol in the 91st minute.
